CELI 2022 Tuition - Scholarship Application

We are deeply committed to ensuring that every accepted applicant is able to attend the Fellowship program regardless of financial situation. For Fellows who are unable to meet the program costs and cannot access professional development funds through their employer, CELI is able to provide scholarships on a financial need basis, thanks to the generous support of our donors and sponsors. Barring exceptional circumstances, all applicants are required to pay at least $300 of the tuition amount (note that this can be paid in 10 monthly installments) in order to stretch the scholarship pool to support more eligible fellows. We will review the scholarship application and notify applicants by February 23, COB.

Scholarship Criteria:

Traditionally excluded: Person of color (esp. Native, LatinX, Black), member of the LGBTQX+ community, person with disability, first-generation university student, immigrant to the United States, female candidate, etc.

Income-based: Outside of the workforce, unemployed, students, those not receiving support from their employer, and those with income below $80k a year are more likely to receive scholarship support.

Additional considerations: Transitional candidates and people with increased financial burdens, e.g. medical debt, taking care of non-dependent family members (parents, siblings), other reasons.
