CELI Game Day 2020 FAQ
What platform are you using for game day?
CELI Game Day 2020 will be hosted on a digital platform called Hopin. Attendees will be sent the Hopin page and password.
To optimize your experience, please make sure you launch Hopin in the Chrome Browser and connect from your desktop (avoid connecting from your mobile device). We also recommend closing any unneeded browser tabs. If you have issues with the platform, especially with stage freezing, try first to refresh the page. For additional tech questions or issues during the game dat, email us at celi@cleanenergyleaders.org
For additional information on Hopin, please check out this helpful article: Using Hopin As an Attendee.
Do I need to have a team?
You are more than welcome to join as a team and recruit a team, or join as an individual! We will assign individuals to teams. For the Trivia and Scavenger Hunt Rounds, you’ll be in a session specifically for your team. Each team name and members will be listed. You can register here.
What Games are we playing?
Round 1: Energy Trivia. Don’t worry, this will be a mixture of loosely themed energy questions, so general trivia knowledge will serve you well.
Round 2: Virtual Scavenger Hunt. Your team will be given a list of items, tasks, and riddles to solve and retrieve. Each team will be given a link to a Google Photo Album to capture their items. All items and tasks must be found and completed within your home (no outside adventures) and each team member must submit at least 1 item. Get ready to move!
Round 3: CELIon Feud. This final round will take the top two teams for our first rounds for a final Family Feud Style Championship. You’ll have a series of questions we’ve surveyed the energy community about. Team captains will select a team member for each round to answer the questions. Want to add your voice? Add your answers to the survey here.
Are there prizes?
Yes! Both the overall top fundraiser and person with most donors will receive a free Pivotal 180 Renewable Energy Project Financing Modeling Course (valued at $800).
Why is CELI having this event and Fundraising?
Normally, every year we have a Run For Clean Energy 5k as a summer community event and fundraiser to support scholarships for CELI’s Fellowship and programming to ensure every accepted applicant is able to participate and our programs are accessible. Clearly, big, in-person events weren’t possible this year, but CELI still wants to bring folks together, have some fun, and ensure we can support our next cohorts. We appreciate your support!
