CELI was founded in 2013 with the idea the clean energy industry needed more voices, more diversity, and that young people needed better pathways and opportunities to make the change we desperately need to see in climate and energy.

Over the last six years, CELI has created robust communities in Washington, D.C. and San Francisco, trained over 500 emerging clean energy leaders through our Fellowship, and provided educational and leadership training to nearly 1,000 more.
