Electric Buses: The Intersection of Transit, Climate, Environmental Justice, and Workers.

As many cities and states look towards the electrification of transportation, electric buses have the opportunity to cut emissions, reduce harmful diesel exhaust in communities most impacted by air pollution, and provide incentives for onsite renewable deployment. However, the mass deployment of electric buses must be done in partnership with typically disparate stakeholders: utilities, transit districts, diesel bus maintenance workers, and environmental justice stakeholders. Join CELI and JMA's National Program Director, Dr. Veeder, for a webinar discussion on how electric buses can benefit the environment, the economy, and public transit, and the considerations needed for an equitable mass deployment.
