Amanda is a Sr. Pricing Analyst at Sunrun, where her primary function is to evaluate utility rates in all current and potential markets to ensure customers will get the best value out of their solar system! Being a transplant from Chicago, she does not take for granted the abundant outdoor opportunities in San Francisco and loves to hike and run. Her favorite hikes to date are Half Dome in Yosemite and an overnight trek summiting a volcano in Guatemala.
Vice President Client Services, Mastercard Advisors
Amar is a Vice President for Mastercard Advisors, where he helps large, consumer-facing companies use randomized trials to evaluate new ideas. He comes to SF by way of Washington DC and Sydney, and is getting to know the Bay Area one coffee shop, restaurant, and soccer pitch at a time.
Energy Analyst, PSE Healthy Energy
Annie is an Energy Analyst at PSE Healthy Energy, where she researches how to replace peaker plants with renewable energy resources that maximize co-benefits to surrounding communities. Annie was born and raised in San Francisco, and is excited about local movements for climate, economic, and social equity. She is a climber and beginner in aerial arts.
Renewable Energy Development Analyst, Intersect Power
Arjan is a Development Analyst at Intersect Power, where he is responsible for development, finance, and engineering of large-scale solar and storage projects. Prior to Intersect Power, he was a Visiting Scholar at the University of Cambridge Energy Policy Research Group and a consultant in the Distributed Energy Resources practice at ICF International, conducting techno-economic analyses on electrical energy storage systems and distributed solar photovoltaic grid integration. He started his career at the U.S. Department of Energy’s Vehicle Technologies Office, working on strategic programs to advance electric vehicle supply equipment adoption. Arjan is passionate about the outdoors and enjoys skiing, football, camping, and spray painting.
Account Manager, Panasonic
Britt is an Account Manager at Panasonic, working in lithium ion stationary storage. Before Panasonic, Britt worked at a flow battery start-up and earned an MS in Energy and Resources at UC Berkeley. Go Bears! When she's not focused on clean energy, Britt can be found hiking in the Oakland and Berkeley regional parks, along the California coast or skiing up in the Sierras.
2017-2018 AAAS Science and Technology Policy Fellow American, Association for the Advancement of Science
Caroline served as the 2017–2018 American Meteorological Society/AAAS Congressional Science Fellow in the Office of U.S. Senator Sheldon Whitehouse (D-RI), where she was responsible for a portfolio including environment, climate, and clean energy issues. During her fellowship year, Caroline developed innovative legislation to advance national ocean data and monitoring programs and support aircraft energy efficiency research. She also tracked policy surrounding electric and autonomous vehicles, offshore wind energy, clean energy financing, and battery manufacturing.
Director of Business Development, Smart Wires
Chris is a Director of Business Development at Smart Wires where he focuses on working with utilities to develop transmission level projects that increase grid efficiencies. Smart Wires' technology enables utilities to dynamically leverage existing assets and respond to emerging needs, such rapidly changing generation profiles or uncertain load patterns, while maximizing value for both the utility and consumers. Chris is an avid chef, reader, and outdoor enthusiast. He hails from a small Northeast coastal town and enjoys being on or near the ocean as much as any other activity.
Project Finance Associate, First Solar
Chris works in First Solar's project finance group. Chris likes to backpack, golf, ski and run; he is currently training for the San Francisco marathon and is in desperate need of motivation. Chris is originally from Texas and is trying to make his way though each of San Francisco's burrito spots.
Performance Engineer, Recurrent Energy
Daniel is a performance engineer at Recurrent Energy where he models energy production for utility scale solar and energy storage projects across the United States. Daniel grew up in New Zealand, representing their national baseball team in his high school years. Though his role in the game has transitioned more from player to fan in recent years, he follows his beloved Toronto Blue Jays fervently and tries to stay up to date with the latest developments in the baseball analytics and research community.
Senior Analyst, Climate Finance Climate Policy Initiative
Dario is a Climate Finance Senior Analyst at Climate Policy Initiative (CPI). Among other things, he leads CPI’s sustainable cities work helping to develop innovative financial instruments that can drive private finance to climate solutions in emerging market cities at scale. Dario is an SF native from the Mission and Bernal Heights, and in his spare time he helps to run the volunteer men’s soccer program at San Quentin State Prison.
Sales Analyst, Stem
Ellen is a Sales Analyst at Stem, working to bring commercial scale storage to scale. When not charging up ideas about clean energy, Ellen enjoys exploring San Francisco through running, eating, drinking, and yoga.
Sr. Systems Engineer, Kairos Power LLC
Ethan is the Senior Systems Engineer at Kairos Power, an engineering company located in the Bay Area trying to develop the next generation of advanced, small modular nuclear reactor. Similar to apparently every other engineer in the Bay Area, Ethan is a pretty serious rock climber and mediocre photographer.
Energy Analyst, AMS
Felicia is an Energy Analyst at AMS where she works to develop and scale analytical processes, and derives insights in energy markets, DER management and grid services. Prior to AMS, she worked at TerraVerde conducting feasibility studies for solar + storage projects for public sector clients in California. Felicia has an urban forage micro-ferment operation as a side hustle yearning for more attention.
Litigation Assistant II, Coal Program Earthjustice
Flora is a litigation assistant at Earthjustice, a nonprofit environmental law organization. She currently supports the litigation and administrative advocacy of Coal Program attorneys working to end our reliance on coal-fired power plants and to accelerate the transition to 100% clean energy. Flora graduated from UC Berkeley in 2014 with a degree in Environmental Sciences and GIS. She's fluent in French, dabbles in Mandarin, and enjoys biking, snowboarding, stamp collecting, filling her apartment with plants, and solving puzzles.
CFO, Revolv
Forrest is the CFO for Revolv, a start-up based in Asia Pacific that is pioneering the first tech-enabled, reusable packaging platform for the short-use food and beverage industry. Always a lover of the outdoors and the adventures they host, Forrest has developed a renewed interest in marine biology over the last few years, which pairs well with two of his new favorite pastimes, surfing and kiteboarding.
Air Quality and Climate Change Specialist, Ascent Environmental
Hannah is an air quality and climate change specialist at Ascent Environmental where she focuses on technical air quality and greenhouse gas emissions analyses.She currently serves as the Chair of the Young Planners Group for the Sacramento Valley Section of the American Planning Association, leading programming and networking for young urban planning professionals around Sacramento. Hannah is a member of the American Institute of Certified Planners. A native of Vermont, she enjoys backpacking, mountain biking, and exploring the West Coast.
Senior Program Associate, ClimateWorks Foundation
Helen is the Head of Institutional Strengthening for Efficiency and Access to Cooling workstreams of the Kigali Cooling Efficiency Program, a philanthropic collaboration which promotes efficient, clean cooling in the developing world, and which is housed at the ClimateWorks Foundation. She also works on raising the profile of behavioral insights as a tool for the climate philanthropy community to increase their impact. Originally from London, Helen has been in the Bay Area for two years and loves exploring California's great outdoors (including learning to surf) as well as eating her way through the city.

Jack is currently a founder in residence at Atomic, a venture fund and studio in San Francisco, where he is exploring ideas in sustainability and real estate. Previously he served as an intelligence officer in the United States Marine Corps, worked in the Dartmouth Sustainability Office, and supported international development projects with UNICEF Madagascar and smaller NGOs in Jordan and Nepal. Jack is an avid outdoorsman and enjoys hiking, hunting, fishing, and diving. He grew up outside Atlanta, Georgia and lives in San Francisco with his fiancé.

Jackson enjoys playing basketball, seeing live music, doing yoga, going on bike rides, and painting. He loves to talk about art, philosophy, and technology, and he's excited to learn everything he can about how to solve the problem of climate change.
Loan Operations Specialist, Fraud and Compliance, Solar Mosaic
Jared views clean energy as a force for social and environmental good. He currently works for Solar Mosaic investigating and mobilizing responses to fraud and compliance incidents in the residential solar market. He spends the rest of his time traveling with friends, concocting plant-based recipes, going for runs around Lake Merritt, and listening to politics podcasts.
Rapid Response Policy Analyst, University of California, Davis: Policy Institute for Energy, Environment, and the Economy
Kelly Fleming is a rapid response policy analyst for the Policy Institute for Energy, Environment, and the Economy at UC Davis. In this role she uses her technical background in chemical engineering and experience working in Washington, DC to ensure university research is understandable and easily accessible for policymakers. Kelly is a Colorado native, and initially became interested in climate and energy issues because of her love of outdoor recreation. She is especially interested in using her expertise to advance environmental justice and energy and transportation equity.

Leah is a Strategic Analyst at Pacific Gas and Electric company where she forecasts long-term departing load and building electrification. She is passionate about accelerating deep decarbonization through innovative clean energy solutions. Outside of work, you'll find her in the mountains riding a snowboard or taking a hike.

Lillian runs Government Affairs for OhmConnect, a residential demand response software company, where she strategically identifies policy and research opportunities to catalyze and grow implementation of DR. She has experience managing energy research and development contracts for the California Energy Commission, and she previously worked for Gap Inc. on corporate renewable energy procurement. Lillian has a Master of Environmental Science and Management from the Bren School at UC Santa Barbara and a BA in Geology-Biology from Brown University. Outside of working out on clean energy, Lillian is a certified yoga instructor and an experienced tap dancer.

Linda is an associate attorney at Farella Braun + Martel LLP. Linda's practice spans a diverse range of environmental topics, but predominantly focuses on National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) and California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) issues. When she’s not practicing environmental law, Linda can be found windsurfing in the San Francisco Bay.

She has helped communities across California, the New York metropolitan area, and Puerto Rico design and develop Community Microgrids through scoping, planning, and engineering design and analysis work. Previously, Malini worked on perfecting pico-solar products for the developing world and prior to that, natural gas fuel cells with Bloom Energy. Malini is fan of California's natural beauty and is an avid hiker, cyclist and backpacker.

Mauricio enjoys playing soccer, brewing beer in his kitchen and reading non-fiction books.

Mitchell is an avid outdoors enthusiast finding his time in the southwest both personally and professionally gratifying.
