DIVERSITY, EQUITY, + INCLUSION MANAGERS: CA + DC
The Clean Energy Leadership Institute (CELI) understands that the level of innovation needed to transition to a clean energy economy will require a diverse set of perspectives and skillsets. And we fully embrace that diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) leads to better outcomes for our community and the broader clean energy transition. To further CELI’s national DEI objectives, we are currently seeking DEI Managers for our San Francisco Bay Area and Washington, DC communities.
The DEI Managers will work closely with CELI’s DEI Director, Alexis Plair, the SF/DC Director, and other members of the leadership team to ensure diversity, equity, and inclusion are central to all CELI programs including the Fellowship curriculum, recruitment and selections process, energy education courses, and community events.
The position will require a commitment of three hours per week (on average). Managers will be expected to participate in standing bi-weekly DEI calls and a monthly leadership meeting.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the city-level DEI activities in support of CELI’s national efforts
Establish relationships with local partners to further DEI in the clean energy sector
Advise and participate in the 2020 Fellowship recruitment and selections process
Develop and host local DEI-focused events
Work with other members of the leadership team to ensure DEI is central to all CELI programming
