2019 Alum Nikita Naik Wins 2022 EPA Gold Medal for Exceptional Service, Outstanding Team Award

2019 DC Alum Nikita Naik was the recipient of a Gold Medal for Exceptional Service, the EPA's highest honor award, as well as an Office of Atmospheric Protection (OAP) Outstanding Team Award, as part of the AIM Act Allocation Rulemaking Team, which was responsible for issuing allowances to address climate-damaging hydrofluorocarbons twice in 2022 and provided recommendations on more than 100 applications for allowances. 2019 Alum Andrew Reighart Receives 2022 EPA Bronze Medal for Commendable Service, Innovation Award

2019 DC Alum Andrew Reighart was awarded a Bronze Medal for Commendable Service as part of the Clean Air Markets Program Data (CAMPD) Team, which successfully launched the CAMPD application, enhancing accessibility to emissions trading program data related to fossil fuel fired power plants. Andrew was also awarded an Office of Atmospheric Protection (OAP) Innovation Award for his examination of CAMD business processes with an eye for improving experiences for CAMD staff and customers. 2015 Alum Cara Marcy Wins 2022 EPA Innovation Award

2015 DC Alum Cara Marcy was the recipient of an Office of Atmospheric Protection (OAP) Innovation Award as part of the §111 EGU GHG Standard-Setting Team, which developed a rigorous “best systems of emission reduction” standard for new and existing power plants in the forthcoming §111 EGU GHG rules.
